Aggregators lock exclusivity, then resell the same footage. We book the session forward and split the cost across the labs that join the pool.

Lab pays ~1.00x

Vendor gets 1× once

Exclusivity locked. Footage resold N times. Each lab still pays near the full session price. Vendor is paid once, cheaply.

Direct exclusive

Lab pays 1.00x

Vendor gets 1×

You fund the whole session alone and own it outright. Baseline for the index — exclusivity is available at this price.

World Archive pool

Lab pays 0.30–0.50x

Vendor gets 2–3×

N labs co-fund one forward session. Each pays a share. Vendor is paid a multiple of the single-buyer fee. Non-exclusive is the default — that is why it is cheap.
